The “Poseidon” is an 18-meter oceanographic vessel owned by the ARPAT, the Tuscan regional agency for environmental protection. A couple of years ago the boat was impounded for a while by the “Guardia di Finanza” because they found cheaper agricultural diesel fuel in her tanks, a strange case of a public agency cheating on taxes.
