On the southern limit of Antignano, “Miramare” (literally sea-view) is a small promontory with a wonderful view on the sea. On the left, at the horizon, the silhouette of the
Gorgona island is barely visible; on the right we can see a cargo ship on the roadstead and below, on the rocky islet, a lone cormorant.
Happy New Year to everyone!

ReplyDeleteA beautiful reminder of the gone and coming summer!
This is a nice image for a port city. I have enjoyed seeing Livorno through your eyes this year. Have fun as you face whatever this new year throws at you!
ReplyDeleteTraveling Hawk - This picture was taken yesterday.
ReplyDeleteA nice photo for the New Year. Funny, but Tapirgal's Daily Image also has a blue Italian sea and a ship in a similar location.... I do not have a cormorant, however. Happy New Year, VP!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind being le cormoran right now (although there is still a little sunshine in Quimper, as surprising as that may be!)
ReplyDeleteBuon Anno to both of you!!!!
