This 268-meter cruise ship was built in 1998 for Star Cruises at the Meyer Werft shipyard, in Germany. She was christened as “SuperStar Leo”.In 2004 the vessel was transferred to the Norwegian Cruise Line and, after a short refit, became the “Norwegian Spirit”. She has a quite tormented history of small incidents.

Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI don't want to be on a ship that's had any "incidents", big or small!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! This is a big one. I think it deserves the more dignified name of Norwegian Spirit. Leo is just a bit too informal. Kind of like taking a cruise on a ship named Skippy or Buster.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a fun way to travel.
ReplyDeleteDamn, I wish to be in one of these cruises when I retire as an old man
ReplyDeleteAs long as they are small incidents...
ReplyDeleteImpressive like all this kind of ships but I am not reluctant to travel in this way.
ReplyDeleteI guess all ships will have an incident or two.
ReplyDeleteNave sfortunata, meglio non salirci! Ciao, Arianna
ReplyDeleteFriends of mine are honeymooning on the NCL "Epic" as I type this. So lucky!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous ship, in any case...
ReplyDeleteLucky people!:)
ReplyDeleteMay she have only smooth sailing from now on.
ReplyDeleteThe perspective on top is fantastic!
