The cruise ship “Norwegian Epic” appearing behind the stern of the “Serenade of the Seas”.This 329-meter behemot is the largest cruise ship built at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique in St. Nazaire and the world's third by gross tonnage. With a crew of 1700, she carries 4100 passengers. How many of these have cabins with balconies?

What a beautiful ship! I cannot imagine taking a trip on this.
ReplyDeleteHmm. I don't know. They look more like refrigerators to me. Now the Stad Amsterdam is my image of a beautiful ship. Wouldn't want to go on a multi-day cruise on the high seas in it, but It's still a beautiful ship.
ReplyDeleteHow huge these are ! Never been on an alike ship. Safe journey ahead and a good Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how big these are!
ReplyDeleteThe design of Epic was questioned and discussed and questioned again. For some it is beautiful, for some it is not. I understand it is quite nice inside. It's a good size to have plenty of choices of things to do for guests. The size is comparable to RCCL's Freedom class ships. We see Epic in St. Thomas every other week during the winter season.
ReplyDeleteThese are just beyond belief.
ReplyDeleteThat's like a small town.
ReplyDeleteSeen her here a few times, next to some ferries. She's indeed enormous.
ReplyDeleteBehemoth is right. Just too big.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a sea monster to me.
I'd hate to have an inside cabin with no view.
These are nightmares for me! But I like the first photo.
ReplyDeletewow impressive ship, it's massive!
ReplyDeleteI love the last shot!
Léia
Lisbon is full with these huge floating condos! Great shots, VP.
ReplyDeleteSo huge! Do you get tired of the cruisers invading your city every summer?
ReplyDeleteTi sei dato ai giganti del mare, vedo! Che sfide a chi è più grossa! Ciao, Arianna
ReplyDeleteBeautifully shown here VP, but that is just WAAAAY to many people floating on the water together!!
ReplyDeleteLois - I don't like the design of Epic, at least the Freedom class ships try to soften their hugeness...
ReplyDeleteHalcyon - I like the ships and it is nice to watch them passing by. Most of their passengers skip town to go to Pisa and Florence.
Arianna - Veder manovrare queste navi mi piace moltissimo!
Looks pretty all 3!!!:)
ReplyDeleteils sont immenses ces bateaux Oo
ReplyDeletebon w end ;o)
They are impressive but not my piece of cake. I wrote this already. The first of this kind I have ever seen were in Canada, in Victoria, B.C.
