The tourist information booth that once stood in “Piazza del Municipio” has flown away. It was probably tired of watching tourists from the cruise ships taking buses to Florence or, even worse, to Pisa.Being not so airworthy, it crash-landed a few blocks away, in “Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia”, where it quickly found a much more fulfilling job as a parking booth.

Gee, VP, it doesn't look very airworthy.
ReplyDeleteInteresting little booth. I hope it comes back to life with renewed vigor and purpose!
ReplyDeleteWow VP! Great post. Again, I truly love your sense of humor.
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny! I can just see it "flying" with the help of a crane right now.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Michelle. Nice little booth.
ReplyDeleteYour sardonic observation 'or, even worse, to Pisa' made me laugh VP.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the next one will be a Livorno-only tourist booth.
ReplyDeleteYou have some strange UFOs in Livorno!
ReplyDeletenice UFO ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad it just moved and it's not gone. Here they have finally brought back to life these kiosks and they are working again like in the good old days.
ReplyDeletethe incredible flying booth...I like it when a good booth is recycled!
ReplyDeleteInteresting little booth.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least they didn't destroy it.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, both words and photos. Don't think a booth can get an air worthiness certificate. Probably an illegal flight.
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny!
ReplyDeletePoor tourists, who will inform them now?
