Donkey or Wild Boar?

Donkey and wild boar coppiette: strips of meat spiced and dried, food fair, LivornoFrom the last food fair in “Piazza XX Settembre”: donkey and wild boar “coppiette”, which are strips of aromatized meat that has been doubled on ropes for drying.

  5. when Don and I lived in the Southwest we ate a lot of different kinds of meat (ie bear, snake) but I we never had donkey or wild boar!

  10. In Switzerland I was always shocked to see restaurant menus on the street saying "horse steak." Now you tell me that people eat donkeys too?!
