The “Corsica Victoria” was launched in 1973 as “Gotland” for the Swedish Stena Line, one of the world's largest ferry operators. In the 1980s the ferry was back in the Mediterranean and now links Livorno with Golfo Aranci (Olbia), in Sardinia.
She was built at the Jozo Lozovina-Mosor Shipyard in Trogir, Croatia (Yugoslavia then), like her almost identical sister ship, the “Sardinia Regina”Can you see anything strange in the first picture? (The wake at the bow: the ship is moving fast backwards)

ReplyDeleteDina - Tha is a bulbous bow, quite common in modern ships... but you are looking in the right place.

ReplyDeleteOi! I DID see the wake yesterday and almost said it but wasn't sure! (It's not like I'm an expert on ships.) Next time I'll take a chance and go with my hunch, even if it turns out wrong.
