The Majesty of the Law

Piazza Guerrazzi, Livorno“Piazza Guerrazzi” without the “The Majesty of the Law”. Looking at the uniform in the old picture, the man was probably a soldier and not a policeman. We are again comparing a 1900 picture from the book “In Tuscany” with the same place today. The Majesty of the Law, In Tuscany by Montgomery Carmichael, Livorno
“The Majesty of the Law” by Pietro Rossini (circa 1900)
