A rickety metal structure materialized in “
Piazza del Municipio”: it is clearly unfinished and has probably something to do with the tourists from the cruise ships.

Our temporary lamp posts on the “
Scali Saffi” (left) are changing in something better (right). We will have real street lights soon...

How nice! Preparations are done to meet the tourists of the new season. I am already done for vacation:)
ReplyDelete..... and I have to say that the trees looks very nice, and is a sign of things I like.
ReplyDeleteWell, I like your new lamp post too.
Getting ready!
ReplyDeleteYou will have to show us the finished lamp posts. The present ones are a bit too modern for the site, but they aren't horrible.
ReplyDeleteInteresting area. Can't wait to see the new lights.
ReplyDeleteThe old lights look fine - but that structure does look lop-sided!
ReplyDeleteLucy
I've seen worse temporary lamp posts... Are you trying to say that there could have been a red carpet beneath that rickety thingy? ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe structure in the top picture is a very strange thing to leave in a nice public square.
ReplyDeleteThis metal structure is interesting indeed, and the lamp post is not so bad:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures full of lights!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see they are taking care of the street lamps. I imagine they will put a new, maybe modern one?
Hugs
Léia
I'm sure you'll solve the mystery soon! :-)
ReplyDeleteHmmm, it looks a little crooked to me!
ReplyDeleteThe mystery poles . . .
