Ciao VP, So easy to read and attached to buildings...not like on a post where someone can come along and twist the sign around and then new comers don't have a clue where to go. I like the names too...definitely sound prettier in Italian! Very artistic photos!
Funny names. Imagine having one for your address. My village didn't have street names or signs or numbers on the houses until 2 years ago. Outsiders would come in and have to look for your house according to the number painted your garbage bin.
Ha you did it before me! I have been collecting street name plaques for a while now in the hope of making a collage. I love how names can be evocative of the past! Have a great week!
I like how easy to read the signs are.
ReplyDeleteI love Italian street signs. They are so elegant and readable. In the USA we have ugly green metal signs with reflective sans serif letters.
ReplyDeleteHow peaceful a mood they do provide.
ReplyDeletePlease have a good new week.
Thank you for the translations!
ReplyDeleteYes, truly thank you for the translations.
ReplyDeleteThey sound prettier in Italian!

ReplyDeleteHow cool, I love Italian language!
ReplyDeleteAnd for me "the last one "is the best!
Cute!
Léia
They all sound so magical to me.
ReplyDeleteWonderful names made more interesting in the translation. MB
ReplyDeleteI love European street names. I think I would like to live in little old house street, it sounds very nice.
ReplyDeleteAnche a Lucca ci sono vie dai nomi strani, spero di riuscire a fotografarli prima o poi. Fagiano si pronuncia "fisant"? Ciao, Arianna
ReplyDeleteI like Italian streetsigns as well as lots of other things, like the numberplates in Rome...:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the translations too.
Streets names are fascinating:)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite name is in the middle.
ReplyDeleteLove the names of the streets, VP!
ReplyDeleteSuggestive street names. I like the background in the first photo.
