A Canadair of the “Protezione Civile” flying over Livorno. The same plane turning and the shadow of another one coming, which is a British Airways Airbus en route to Pisa airport.
Jets may be modern marvels but I just love the little guys better. Neat seeing two at once.
We don't get much jet traffic up where I live just little ones from the local airport. And occasionally the Prowlers from the Naval Base on Whidbey Island. MB
Nice VP. Planes are just one of those machines that are still surprising to me.
ReplyDeleteTrusting things not see, always two hands full of air beneath their wings.
ReplyDeleteHaving only the best memories of Pisa, I thank you for this "lift" and wish a good Sunday for you all.

I agree with Luis. I wonder what they will be like in the future.
ReplyDeleteI love airplanes! Amazing photos :-D
ReplyDeleteTwo planes in one photo, wow!
ReplyDeleteI love to see airliners with their landing gear down, so close.
Busy sky over Livorno today:)
ReplyDeleteNice shots! I like the first one best. It's like a toy in the sky.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture, I like the lines of the Canadair!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

Busy sky.
ReplyDeleteThe BA flight in a few days will be full of tourists with photos of a tower, won't it?!

Love both the Canadair and BA shots, but the capture of the 'meeting point' is fantastic! Well done, VP!
ReplyDeleteNice shots, and I think the second one is very interesting!
ReplyDeleteHope it was for an exercise, and not a real emergency. Although it is a bit late for forest fires.
