Terrific, VP, well done! I can almost see this big ship turning... Funny, I see a lot of container ships and big ports, but I've never watched a one turn like this.
The first photo is wonderful! It's like a film :D There are so many containers on the Porto di Livorno...kind of looks like a whole bunch of rubic cubes :D
This blog is full of great photos, and by looking at your work, it gives me lots of inspiration and motivation to take more pictures - Thank you for sharing !!!
Looks like ballet to me. Impressive. Please have a good weekend.

ReplyDeleteI do like the turning shots. Very neat. Amazing that the little tug can pull and guide the much larger container ship. MB

Excellent photos of this ship moving about. I love the colors on the cargo.
ReplyDeleteI'm fascinated by how these huge ships can turn on a dime! I used to watch them in Mazaatlán, México for that very reason. Good sequence of shots!

ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures. It so makes me want to see all this in person.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how the tugs work and how the mountain of containers does not make a ship top heavy.
Love the collage, VP!
