  2. A wonderful castle - nicely documented! Nice beach too. Did you have warm water this year? While in Pula, 1st week of August, we have very cool sea water.

  17. VP, as always, your photos and reporting are outstanding. But allow me to be a bit contrary. It appears to me the scale of this villa/castle is off... from its design - architecture - it looks like it should be a big building or complex while it is in fact quite small. Sort of like a midget castle. Hmmm...? Or am I seeing it wrong? Can't argue with it being is a lovely spot, though.

  18. @ Francisca - You got it perfectly right: this is a fancy villa, not a castle, with an excellent location and a large park.
    I think this was intended and apparent from many details of the building. Maybe we'll see that in another post...
