This is not a beach, but a composition found by my friend Stefano on the roof of a former flower shop, which is now a travel agency.Perhaps the idea was to create some holiday spirit, but the display is a bit weird because it is in front of one of our cemeteries.
Excellent what a great find!
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny!
ReplyDeleteWhen I first started working in an office setting, I had a sunset photo, with a little cocktail umbrella, with a white seal kicking back trinket in a corner of my desk. It helped in a large office building with no windows.
Creative for sure. Maybe the dead are partying in the middle of the night?
ReplyDeleteIt seems Blogger is screwing up again...some comments are not posting on my blogs! Pfffpth!
Maybe the travel agency is trying to prompt interest in selling vacations to beach locations. Tamarindo, Costa Rica would be a perfect choice. (Sorry, I could not resist a little shameless self-promotion.)
ReplyDeleteThat made ME smile:)
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of different places to travel and I suppose someday we all will be travelling to the cemetary. LOL MB
ReplyDeleteThis is funny.
ReplyDeleteAt least it would be nice and quiet near the cemetery.
You know, I read that they brought sand and sunshades, etc. to a little part of a Jerusalem park so we can pretend to have a beach.
At first, I found the inverted umbrella funny. Then I thought it was cute, when you mentioned the travel agency. But now that I know about the cemetery… Weird, is all I can say.
ReplyDeleteI have a writer friend who just might be able to make a story out of this…
The dead have something really nice to look at. It's fun! I wonder why the travel agency left the 'fiori' sign?!
ReplyDeleteSo humorous - you sure notice it! It could be an artist's installation. I love it, it brought a large smile on my face !
ReplyDeleteInteresting decoration, what a great find!

ReplyDeleteThey probably sell a lot of 'one way' tickets.
ReplyDeleteFunny picture, I love their idea about this office!
ReplyDeleteI think they knows well about how to prepare a funny trip and so on! :)

Your comment about this scene just made me laugh out loud. What an odd location for a travel agency. I doubt their neighbors are making many plans!
ReplyDeletePS: Did you get the link to my bench photos? I am going to start putting them there, if you'd like to use them.
That is a funny picture, especially the umbrella that looks as though it got caught in a strong wind gust!
ReplyDeletehahahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteWhat people will do.
Very funny, interesting and weird find. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCurious Mushroom, isn't it ?
ReplyDeleteFunny ( ´艸`)
This is so funny! Especially for being in front a cemetery! "Take a hoilday... in the clouds!" :-)
ReplyDeleteHa ha, JM's comment is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure this works well dragging people into the agency.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like good advertising, and quite imaginative.
ReplyDeleteTrying to brighten the place up a bit, maybe? :D
