More Signs

What is a “I” instead of a “Y”?I am not sure if this means “Free beauty” or “Devoid of beauty”, in both cases the beauty salon seems doomed.“Piazza XX Settembre” (September 20th Square) is often called by locals “Piazza Venti”...

    I do not know what September 20th Square refers to, but the other signs are just plain funny!

    Well, it's nothing like Japanese "Engrish." I once saw a store there selling alcohol whose sign had a little boy and girl riding a booze bottle like a see-saw, with the name Hip Hop Fuckin' Cool Liquor Store. You can't even get away with that in Brooklyn.

    Here too.
    I never understood how people invest money in making a sign without getting it proofread or getting a second opinion first.

    I like the signs they're colourful and interesting. the first one looks like the old signs on Milk Bars we have here.
