“Arte a perdere” (Throwaway Art) is a display of contemporary art organized in “Piazza Mazzini” and in the former “Parterre”, now Sandro Pertini Park.Giuseppe Mazzini had his monument almost cloned, and he is not amused. Is someone implying that he was an airhead? This one, at the “Parterre”, was the only work I really like.Throwaway art may seem an oxymoron, but here, in many cases, the term is probably self-explanatory.

Really fun stuff VP.
ReplyDeleteCreative and FUN. Number one and four are those I like the most.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Week!
Neat set of pictures,I like this idea about a open air exposition! It's modern and you can see the artwork in many angles, with different shadows!

Like your other readers, I actually like them. They're colorful and a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteLooks like they're made of old cartons. Probably why they're called throwaway art?
Lol at the airhead!
ReplyDeleteThough I agree this isn't real art (but some would argue that it is), I think it's fun, precisely because it's temporary.
Too funny. I like the first pic and the blue try at painting. LOL MB
ReplyDeleteThat third photo reminds me a lot of an art object I found in the water at my favorite beach
ReplyDeleteThis post made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteArte Moderna, grande curiosità, fascino e un pò di perplessità.
ReplyDeleteciao simona
Actually, this is better than some so-called art that should be thrown away.
ReplyDeleteNot to be rude, but I had to laugh at the last photo!
ReplyDeleteThat is a BIG brush on the easel. You could make a lot of throwaway art with that.
ReplyDeleteVery nice indeed, so creative!
ReplyDeleteI like several of them. I can see that others really should be tossed. But the same is true in indoor museums and galleries. Art is so strange.
ReplyDeleteThe top shot is just great!
ReplyDeleteIt would never cross my mind cloning a monument and I find this idea so very funny! :-)
