Two busts on top a building facing Piazza Mazzini.I was not able to find anything about these sculptures. They stay up there, amid the aerials, watching the sea.
The look a little strange when you pull back and see them atop the building. Perhaps an artist lives there and this was his only way to display his work!
They seem to be waiting for someone...maybe a lost love. That would be romantic :-D
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I like the idea of them overlooking the ocean.
ReplyDeletePretty cute! Love the colors against that blue, blue sky! How do they stay up there anyway when the storms hit? Superglue?
ReplyDeleteSigh ... what a life.
ReplyDeleteYou are really good at finding things like that:)
ReplyDeleteI like those busts against the blue sky.
Have a nice week:)
I, too, like the busts against that flawless sky, but I also like the juxtaposition of those old busts and those new aerials.
ReplyDeleteYearning, I think.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding contrast with the busts and the blue vibrant sky!I loved it!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots,

The top photo is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI like the bright blue sky as the only contrast to the statue. And you also have a very nice composition in it.
No doubt keeping watch that modernity doesn't take over everything.
ReplyDeleteI really like the first image. very nice.

ReplyDeleteThey sure do look nice against that beautiful blue sky!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lois. The detail shots are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteAt least they have a nice view. I hope they don't ever fall down during a storm.
ReplyDeleteFunny and nice post.
