Easter Monday

Bird on a tree, piazza della Vittoria, LivornoMy Sunday walk took place on a fine Easter Monday. I caught this guy sitting on a budding tree branch in “Piazza della Vittoria”.Mural, via Mayer, LivornoEvery period has its own art: this mural is in “Via Mayer”, on the wall below the Topless Sphinx.Following the weather, the local fauna is changing, as you can see in this window in “Via Magenta”.People keep evoking the sun from the facade of their houses.What about this colorful pair of ladies shoes?

    A very enjoyable walk, indeed. The photo of the bird is superb...methinks he was posing for you and you did right by him!

    You could title this post, "Colorful Livorno."

    Pretty shoes, although I'll never understand high heels. The hanger behind them is fun too.

    Very successful walk VP!The guy in the first photo must have been singing its beautiful song, mural is funny as well as sun and the lovely little creatures, and the shoes - wow, I would love to have pair (only to look at them since probably wouldn't be able to walk!!!)

    You really caught the bird well. Funny how they seem to have expressions.

    I like the other details as well. And the shoes - pretty, but impractical.

    Wonderfully eclectic collection from this walk, VP. The glass statues are so pretty and I wouldn't mind having a colorful sun on our house either. The shoes are pretty, but those heels are way too high. I can just see myself wobbling down the street…

    I like the sun even though it's too hot in Newtown about 33c. So I think I like the penguins better especially since they have nice reflections in them. The black bird is the best of all imo.
