    I've never seen a cannolo before, much less taste one, but I would love to! And those marzipan creations are beautiful!

  15. I love Cannolis!!!! (& everything else sweet for that matter) Now I think I may go to my nearest Italian bakery to get one. Today is Fat Tuesday after all.

  16. @ Lily - That's funny because you don't find cannoli in ordinary bakeries here, but only in some pastry stores.
    Most of what is considered Italian abroad is more strictly regional here...

  20. The mini-fruit sweets remind me of my favourites with similar shapes made of eggs and almond from the Algarve, south of Portugal! Yummy! :-)
