Theme Day: Best of 2009

The band of the Navy playing in the Gazebo, LivornoLast May, during the spectacular closing ceremony of the TAN (Naval Academy Trophy), the band of the Navy was playing in the “Gazebo” a selection of not very martial tunes, while sails of any size and description crowded the waters in front of the “Terrazza Mascagni”.

  20. This is a great choice for your "best of ...". The colors, the composition, the perfect angle of the baton all really give the viewer a close sense of the scene.

  28. It reminds me of my childhood, because my father used to play trumpet in the city orchestra. My sister and I used to go to see him in the big garden.
