The first villa of the new block has as much as two turrets but is strangely facing a side street of “Viale Italia”.

Its facade, which is the side, on the avenue is not so impressive.

From “
Villa Letizia” the pair of turrets is perfectly visible.

Very attractive villa. I rather like that the entrance is on a side street.
ReplyDeleteI think it is gorgeous. The lighting on the first photo is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWould telling you that the buildings are beautiful in themselves, but that the LIGHTING makes the photos SPECTACULAR & covetable, be stating the obvious??
ReplyDeleteMost excellent photography. You really used the moment to the best advantage.
I do love the turrets! Wish we could have them here. What is their purpose?
ReplyDeleteI agree, the angle of light makes the buildings spectacular; the second photo with the low dark clouds and bit of blue sky is especially nice. The last one - turrets and turrets, to the horizon! A "turretists" dream world!

Who lives there? Prince of Livorno? What a magnificent place!
ReplyDeleteLove those stormy skies - adds a bit of drama. Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteOh what a dramatic sky, perfect for Wagner. The last shot is particularly interesting, with the turrets almost lost in the sea of rooftops.
ReplyDeleteDramatic sky, beautiful light and unique architecture.
ReplyDeleteNice photos.
I have to get used to this, seeing red-tiled roofed turrets.
ReplyDeleteI like this one very much. The last photo is superb!
ReplyDeleteNice addition to the turrets family. And the same dramatic sky making the shots very spectacular.
ReplyDeleteAll three shots are excellent.
ReplyDeleteLove this Villas the turrets are great. Wonderful light in the images.
ReplyDeleteThe menacing clouds and the light in the frist 2 photos makes the building look even better. Lovely place, I like the side street entrance too.

ReplyDeleteThese villas are simply outstanding. Incomparable design.
ReplyDeleteYour shots are perfect.
The first two shots look so dramatic with those ominous clouds looming over the turrets!
ReplyDeleteNice villa, nice gloomy sky
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have dramatic skies! And such PRETTY buildings! Our buildings are plain in comparison.
ReplyDeleteCon quel cielo buio sono ancora più belle!!!
ReplyDeleteGrazie!
That zoom lens does provide a nicely compressed view of things. I like that.
ReplyDelete@ Per - Am I abusing it? Now I have just discovered the other end of the lens and often shot with the 28mm equivalent.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! In the last picture there is a great plans composition, fabulous shot!

Is the sky in the first photo real? Looks like it could be a scene in Batman or something mysterious. Love the way you shot the building :)
ReplyDeleteI really love your city! Everything looks so charming and Old World. But wait! It is "Old World."
ReplyDeleteOn the contrary, VP - I like it!
ReplyDeleteI love the turrets of Livorno! Especially under these dramatic skies you allways show us! :-)
