A detail of the anchor chain with its reflection in the water. The water reflects patches of light on the hull of the boat. The boat, the “Moby Aki” ferry, colors the surrounding water.
I'm subscribed to a weather warning on the Internet and during the winter months especially, we are constantly getting messages to stay away from the coast due to high winds. Of course, one wants to go look at the big waves, but maybe from a safe distance. There is a phenomenon called "sneaker waves" that are bigger than the usual, so it's unwise to get complacent about the hight of the usual surf at a spot like this.
Hello dear VP Wonderful pictures, the first one is outstanding! That perfect blue touched my heart and I "loved"it! :) Good start for my week here! BTW, please forgive my late comment and visit, we were out of our place during this weekend, yes, another adventure, but it will be a subject for some post in my blog...you know... LOL Hugs and thanks for sharing your pictures! Léia

Just look at that reflecting blue! The coral reef could be right below the surface! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections VP. I especially like the top photo. The reflection and colors of the water and ship are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSo much turquoise I'm blinded! Gorgeous shots!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the compliments. Of course, you can use "Sunny Bench."
ReplyDeleteThe chain pictures and reflected light are lovely - but the boat (sorry, ship) is quite shocking with all those cartoon characters!
ReplyDeleteThree Rivers Daily Photo
what a brightly coloured ship!
ReplyDeleteWonderful reflections, VP. The water is such a lovely shade of blue in the first two photos. Why
ReplyDelete/are those cartoon characters painted on the ferry?
Lovely reflections!
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections, the blue color looks so amazing.
