Passengers

Passengers on Mega Express, Corsica Ferries, Porto Mediceo, LivornoEvery day that I walk to the port some ferry is leaving, usually for Sardinia or Corsica. The ships are almost the same: passengers change, but not so much, they are holidaymakers.Passengers on Mega Express, Corsica Ferries, Porto Mediceo, LivornoIn the first two images, a group and then a family were leaving yesterday aboard the “Mega Express” of “Corsica Ferries” for Golfo Aranci, Sardinia.Passengers on Mega Express, Corsica Ferries, Porto Mediceo, LivornoThe last image shows the same ship for the same destination, a month ago, with obviously different passengers but not so much different types.

    Funny post. The ships are the same and the people mostly so. It does look like a lot of fun, though. I would like to try it sometime.

    I really like these series! Your pictures look like billboards for cruise vacation! I though I will never step foot on one - but these photos makes it look like fun! Very cool!

    @ Ellie - These are ferries, not cruise ships: in few hours these people will be in Sardinia with their cars.

    Both destinations are great to go to. I know Corsica quite well sometimes I dream of the places there. Some images have stuck in my memorie.

    I love the 3rd photo. The mother is trying to get the family together to pose for a photo and they are all fighting it saying "enough already" Then there's the lady letting the ashes grow at the end of her cigarette because she's become preoccupied with perhaps the good looking guy on the deck below.
    A friend gave me a hard time for posting pictures yesterday of people I caught unawares. People are interesting when they don't know others are watching. I try to post only pictures where people are not recognizable if they aren't at a public event.
