This seagull is crying from the top of one of the steet lights lining the “Fosso Reale”, not far from “Piazza Cavour”.
This other bird is standing on top of a chimney of a seven storey building adjacent to mine, from where he controls everything around, me included.
Well snapped. I also happened to have an encounter with the feathered squad the other day.
ReplyDeletecool!
ReplyDeleteand nice your caption!
On the look out for pirates!
ReplyDeleteGulls! I hate Gulls!
ReplyDeleteNice pict though!
Looks like he's singing an aria in the top shot. And as if he's accepting a warm ovation in the second. I know you said it's a different bird but ...
ReplyDeleteI picture them more as husband and wife.
ReplyDeleteAnd I picture them as food traffic and safety controllers.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, I love gulls:)
ReplyDeleteOh boy, these are just superb shots, VP! The first one is priceless...perfect timing...I don't think I've ever seen such a shot...
ReplyDeleteGulls are rather regal scavengers!
I can hear the call in that first photo. Very nice shot!
ReplyDeleteI love the top picture with the open beak, very nice.
ReplyDeleteThe first shot is so great!
ReplyDelete@ brattcat - I'm not sure the bird is a different one, probably he's following me...
ReplyDeleteMarito e moglie?

I love gulls. It's only inconvenient if something lands on you or your car, but I love to look at them! These are great gull photos. With the mouth open, that's hard to get. Good job!
ReplyDeleteNice shot - looks great against blue sky
ReplyDeleteWe get them here too, they're real thugs!
ReplyDeleteI've snapped many a gull picture but never one of it talking. Well done.
