  3. PS - "I think I can, I think I can..." says the little tug.

  4. These are great harbour photos, especially the second one. Are the Corsica-Sardinia ferries on strike as often as the France-Corsica ones? ;-)

  5. Top photo is great as it shows the different sizes of the vessels. And I like the symmetry of the big ship.

  6. That first photo is awesome!

But that is definitely not what I think of when I hear the word "ferry!" That ship is huge!

  7. If you hadn't told me, I would have thought that ship was a building. Obviously the bully of the harbor. I like the way the tower in thee background sort of mirrors the ships tower.

  9. Each of these shots has its own special element of tension. The difference in size between the ferry and the tug in the first shot and the heroic efforts of the the tug in the second. Wow.

  10. @ ciel - I don't know, probably even more...

@ brattcat - The small boat in the first shot is not a tug. Ferries usually don't have to use tugs.

  11. Both of these shots are superb. The first one is my favorite...with the small boat one certainly gains perspective as to how big that ferry really is! Amazing!

The second shot, too, is great...I can just feel that tug straining to get the job done!

Have a great day or evening as the case may be!

  12. From the back, it doesn't even look like a boat.

  16. I love the first one - I clicked on the thumbprint in the portal because I was wondering what the big symmetric yellow thing was. I was quite surprised to find out it was a ferry and its perspective (versus the smaller boat) is impressive

  17. I too like the first shot. It made me think of lego blocks when the screen first opened up. How DID you get this head on shot?
