Automatic Free Shop

Automatic Free Shop, vending machines, LivornoI found this gaudy shop in Corso Amedeo. Open 24/7 and filled with vending machines, it is actually called: “Automatic Free Shop”. Everything here may be automatic, but surely it is not for free.

  5. If I didn't know this is Livorno, I would have guessed it was somewhere in Japan ;)...

  8. I'm always dizzy with this kind of machine!
Once in Venice ( 2000 ) I was cheated by an old wash machine!!!
In that time I was very angry, I didn't think it was funny, but now...funny situation! Can you imagine me arguing with a machine? LOL

  9. I think that this one shop alone brings Italy up as a major competitor of Japan when it comes to vending machines. But I see that Nobu's been here and said as much :)

    The name's a hoot.

  10. this is a brightly colored inviting spot. Very clever idea. I also really liked your red flower photo. Very poetic and beautiful capture. good eye for that one. I am glad you enjoyed the cactus and Chihuly on my site. I will have more Chihuly coming up and a tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West over the next few weeks. I hope you like the Wright series and information and you won't find it too boring. It is an historic desert camp with lots of interesting details and information.

  11. Those colors are amazing...I guess they are to catch your attention. I don't get the "free" business either...duty free? Maybe they mean "free" of waiters and waitresses and the need to leave a tip?
