Spring Walk

My first spring Sunday walk starts with my first tree blooms.A “Madonnina” on the corner of “Via San Carlo” and “Via Crimea”.“The Legend of the Bread” is an impressive name for a bakery. But I still wonder what they use the sword for...A rusty old lamp, or a fake rusty old lamp, I'm not sure.He was keeping watch from his window sill, behind the grate, but ready to jump...

    How I love those blossoms! The colours are vivid and lovely. The cat does look like it's about to spring onto your head or shoulders!

    What a nice collection you've picked up along the way! The tree looks like the ones used for landscaping here a lot - I think it's an ornamental plum, maybe Japanese.

    This post is both beautiful and funny. I think it's one of your best walks. The cat on the sill with that incredible grate is priceless (how do you find these cats? You're a great cat photographer!). The sword is very funny - so strange. The blossoms lovely. The madonna - I much prefer the Italian street shrines to things they put up in the U.S. It's colorful, too.

    Spring? Has it really come to you??

    Pre-enlarging, it looked like he was kneeling with a cross. Funny how the cross and the sword have the same shape ....

    Great post as usually -I love the cat and flowers of course, but my favourite is the rusty lamp.Beautiful photo!
    Is the legendary breat good - their sign is a bit strange

    I really enjoyed this walk. I especially like the name of the bakery. Perhaps their bread is so legendary that they need a sword to cut it.

    It started out like a lovely walk...spring blossoms, a Madonna, a bakery sign, a lamp...and then I was startled by the kitty glaring at you and your camera. :)
