Some intricate wooden dancing going on there. I'll sit this one out, thank you! :)

Oh, I like going to the market with you. Definitely some treasures to be found.

Very cool looking old electric fan, I would haggle for that! Not sure about that wooden 'artifact', though.

Your photoreportage on the film is amazing.
After the movies, what could be nicer than walking around the market?

Great "stuff" at the market. I like the wooden piece.

I think I could spend all day there.

We held a garage sale in our garage (unusual!) last Friday. A lot of people showed up and bought a bunch of our "stuff" we no longer want or need. But we didn't have any "stuff" like this stuff. You have elegant stuff in Livorno at your Sunday market. I'll bet it costs more than the two dollars I was offered for most everything!

May this week be a delightful experience for you and yours!

A clock like that in a street market. Here such a handsome clock would be in an antique store on Newbury or Charles Street.

That clock is really adorable but the porcelain is my "piece of cake"! :)
Thanks for sharing, I loved it!

Some really nice stuff!

Looks like they have some neat stuff! I have one of those wooden things like in the last photo, but mine is camels instead of people.

That wooden sculpture is very interesting!!!! :-D

The others are nice, too.

@ tapirgal - I think they hate me because I take a lot of picture and never buy anything!

Fun to look at, that's for sure. Did you purchase anything?

Kaori said...

oh your market looks wonderful! although i'm still trying to figure out what that is in your last photo!

Your outdoor markets sell the same crap as ours do, but the pottery looks nice. Lovely photos.

I love this kind of markets. I have a very similar fan from the same period, pretty cool too!

I just know I could spend a lot of time in this market and get in trouble buying, buying, buying.

Stefan Jansson said...

I can understand why you didn't buy anything! I do the same thing. Take the photos and run!

Interesting items. We don't have this kind of markets in Bucharest anymore and that's a pity.

It must be amazing to see all the lovely items for sale as you walk through.

I like those little shot glasses. My mom used to have many like that in her cupboard but never used them. I promised to buy myself some only if I will use them. But still havn;t found the perfect set.
