Yarn Bombing

Graffiti knitting on trees in Piazza XX Settembre, Livorno
Graffiti knitting on trees in Piazza XX Settembre. A few months ago we posted about the first yarnbombed plane tree in this square: now practically every tree has its colorful “dress”. (Already posted on Instagram)

Very well dressed trees! The yarn companies have promoted this for a few years - for VERY obvious reasons. ;) The practice has been dying out here in the States.

I like the hat and scarf bombing during cold months much better. Knitters leave hats and scarves tied around trees and poles in areas where there are homeless who need them.

Great image! :)

One or even two trees in my area have been yarn bombed but not all of them. These looks great.
